Our vision is a world where the underdog wins.
At Noggin HQ, we're building a Credit Reference Agency that enables people to build and challenge their own credit file. The result? The elimination of unfair barriers to lending and borrowing money.

Viva la CRevolution!
In 2020, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) found significant data protection failures at Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. At Noggin HQ, we believe you should decide how we use the data we're trusted with.
Millions in the UK are wrongly credit unscorable. This sees them forced to pay more or be excluded entirely from access to vital services, e.g. taking a mobile phone contract.
Traditional ways of calculating credit scores are outdated and can overstate the risk you pose. More accurate scores give lenders confidence and can lower interest for borrowers.
Ever had your credit agency make a mistake about you? It's happened to us! Mistakes can take several months to resolve and can often lead to you being unfairly refused credit. At Noggin HQ, we want to change this.
We'd love to hear about your experiences of credit scoring in the UK. If you're open to a chat, or just want to rant - we are all ears. Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org

At Noggin HQ, we see an opportunity to build a new type of Credit Reference Agency, one that’s radically transparent and works for people.
Currently, Credit Reference Agencies are the gatekeepers to credit, and for many, “thou shall not pass”. Setting up Wi-Fi? Need a mobile phone contract? Trying to find a mortgage? Credit Check.
If you don’t have a good credit score, you can struggle to access these services.
The problem is:
(1) The models used to calculate credit scores disadvantage millions, in particular: young people, women, renters, retirees and recent immigrants. By unfairly presenting us as higher-risk, or even "unscorable", we have to pay more to access credit...if we’re not excluded entirely. This is something we’ve experienced first hand.
(2) Even when you have a good credit score, if there’s a mistake on your file it can take MONTHS to fix. This is a painful process, one which we’re all too familiar with.
(3) It’s commonplace to only be able to see your refreshed credit score every 30 days - unless you take out a monthly subscription. We don’t think this is right. Even more, until GDPR, you had to pay to see your credit score!
This is why Noggin HQ was born - to cut through the credit scoring bullsh*t.
